07 dreaming within a dream

I applied for a job and a guy, Jim something, came to the front desk of Tenley that was in Federal, and gave me an a hundred page test. On the back was a circuit diagram, and on the front was a giant star. He told me to fill it out while at work, even though I said it would take a while. His wife appeared, it was almost six. She said they would go to the library to wait for me, but if she could get my information, she was a reporter, and wanted to talk to me. "About WONK." I asked. She didn't make it clear. I filled out the information, but kept getting tired and putting my head down to sleep. Then, finally, inexorably, I did fall asleep.

Summer Glau was a doll and I was with her while she gave birth to a child. I was trying to fill out forms and went down the hall and ran into another woman who was talking to me about something, but needed her drugs, and Summer was dead then, only not -- she was under anesthetic and I had to carry her around. The woman in the white and pink robe, who had just given birth a few doors down, stick a needle in her arm and her pupils got larger and larger, until her head became dwarfed by them. I tried to run but Summer's body was too heavy.

I was in a test for biochem, and was being instructed to tell the class all about ribose molecules. A computer program chose various models, putting them on a screen. In the background, Jim waved his arms, telling me I had failed to finish the application, and why wasn't it done?

06 red wine and poker

There were jellyfish flying in the air.

A new house in which Clif and Billy tried to start a poker tornament.

I was Meredith Grey as an RA. On one side of the Hughes T was Mel, on the other Janelle. They both wanted something from me. I had a hand coming out of my back. Derek wanted to operate. He did. I went under anesthesia but was still aware of everything. I came up. I was Derek. I was forgetting things at AU, unsure of what was happening.

There was a soundtrack.

I was a mother and a teenage daughter talking. The daughter said "Its like driving down I-90 while drunk." The mother looked worried. "Oh don't worry about it mom," the daughter said. The mother smiled and said. "Oh I won't. You're not going to drive again for a long time."

05 driving

I went on a trip somewhere with Alicia and Rebecca. For some reason my mother came with us. We were staying on the second floor of a suburban house. I kept wanting to buy rum for mojitos. I bought the rum and put it in the fridge and realized that we were in the house that Meng was housing sitting this summer. I didn't know where to get the lime juice from. My dad was there, but he was going to New York soon. I showed him the Time magazine I had finally gotten and told him I got it for $10 a year and he was pleased. He then turned on the TV and showed me that the Ab Fab girls were starting up a new funny show that picked up where the last series ended. People kept on saying "po-tah-toe". Brittany showed up. We were in the Bethune's house. She went to organize the DVDs, taking out the cases and placing them on the drive way based on various themes in the "Best of" category. Michaela showed up and needed someone to drive her to North, and I agreed. I put on socks, and was reminded of moon bounces. Then I put on shoes. Michaela was already in the driver's seat and I realized I was driving the car back from North. I got in the passenger's seat and had a gobstopper in my mouth. We drive out and over the piles of DVDs, though Michaela said she was avoiding them. On Comm ave we turned a corner, I finished my gobstopper, and turned to Michaela to say that she was a much better driver then I had expected, and it was probably because anyone who was my brother's age I expected to be bad, and since she was younger she avoided that, but then the actual gobstopper in my mouth dissolved and it felt funny so I woke up.

04 dogs

I was at a wedding, in Vermont. We had to build the ground on which the wedding was to take place -- both wood and earth moved by large machines. I wanted candy and headed down into a small, square town, where everything was contained and all the houses were white. When I returned, we had to put up tents over the wedding ground because it was going to rain. I was allowed to sit in the middle because I knew the bride. The wedding was over and I was at home and it was dark. My mother had gone to an environmental overnight lecture, and I was in the house with my dog, only it was a grand mansion just around the stairs. I was online in the guest bedroom, and Tilly was barking. She told me her best friend was barking too, though I couldn't hear Scout. Dad came down and he yelled at me and Jasper for being online too much, after telling us our mother was terrible online. Mother came home and cooked pasta for breakfast and told me Tilly had to go...
