18 whales and water

I went to my first improv class today, but it was earlier than I usually get up, and so I came home and napped. And I had this dream that America Ferrara had been left behind as a kid in a water world exhibit (apparently her brother pushed her in and... no one noticed?) and she grew up with killer whales, who were also elephants. And none of the zoo keepers would let her out, because they were the animal control guys from Parks and Recreation, with an evil leader who thought it was funny that there was this girl in the tank forever. Anyways, then America decides to escape and goes on this big adventure that involves floating houses, and untying knots and then finally swimming with a big shark out into water world where dinosaurs are also there, and she jumps on one of them, and gets to dry land finally. She climbs up this hill to the exit, but then it turns out its a trick and has to come back down.

Well, then it turned out I was watching this documentary with my friend Sammie and her friends (who were guys in my improv class) and I was deciding which of them were attractive, and we all went to said water world, only to end up in an alternate reality. We had to made a very dangerous deal with a group of street thugs, who were also a world class basket ball team, and I ended up loosing a very expensive watch, but we got away from them, and then ended up trapped in the subway with this incredibly lonely guy who wanted to trap us forever down there. But then I gave him my bunny and he agreed to let us all go (cause, aw, the bunny could talk and they became friends and he was no longer lonely!). So we get out and find ourselves on these cliffs.

And the beach is down there and it turns out America's down there, so we drop down through these clouds and on to the beach to find that everyone we lost is there, and the water is full of these amazing creatures, and we all swim. But America realizes, and we all sort of do, that the tide is pulling out, and some of us won't return -- including her -- and its a giant allusion for death.

And I got to ride on this big giant wave back to shore, and stood there, watching the tide pull out... and then I woke up.

17 dead, dead

At work we were doing a bike thing. We had to bike around and around and around. When I got to the end, Wes said Josh had died. It was an accident. He'd gone to the orchestra to ask for a drink, and a tree had split open and he was dead for some reason.

My mother, Wes and I had to drive to Josh's mother's house to tell her he was dead. Someone from work called me and told me something was wrong in the fill tank room.

I knit tiny blankets for each of Josh's fingers.

16 the wave

Molly has come to visit. Only she is basil and in order for us to see her she has to be put into a blender and grown from petri dishes. I get in the ocean and swim. The tide is coming in and the waves start to get more intense, growing to some sort fo crescendo.

I'm in the wave, I am the wave, I'm rising higher than I ever have before, the water swells and rises, carrying me, and I can feel the intense pull of it. I am clear and clean, and the water below looks shady and dark. The sun caught between the water, casting everything in blue. And then the wave crashes.

It misses the beach completely, tumbling and pounding over the edge of a crater, and I am in the wave, over the edge of the known world.

15 Cats

We were at a giant beach house and I had to shave my legs. I was being lazy though so I put on Veet, and left it on for too long because my mother insisted I go to the bank. It was where Sweet Tomatoes is, next to the bike shop. I was wearing pants over the foam crap and had to get back quickly, but they wouldn't give me quarters. I was upset about this. 


Gus was at the beach house and he wanted to get out. The kittens had to be returned to Lindsay who was playing a MMORPG that was revolving around a theater. Mike Page from work was stage crew by himself but he kept screwing up. I was in the game but not controlled by it. 


Lindsay's computer started to die and suddenly I was in her room, which was not her room, and Jupiter and Donovan were there as well as two more kittens (who were really kittens), and I was asking if I couldn't have them back because I would be lonely in the giant beach house. 


I hadn't taken off the Veet, so my legs were still all hairy. 

14 Pencils

I'm at the beach. We're worried about tsunamis only not really. Like on a message board, you can see a list of people who are there. Josh is around, but I can't find him. My mother is there, but I don't want to spend time with her. Arthur Su, who I went to high school with, is there, talking to a girl about her senior thesis. We're on a beach that looks like the tunnel at school. I keep swimming deep down and being able to breathe under water. Every time I surface I hear Arthur complaining about me. I swim away. There is a book shelf just above the water with several books in it.

I'm talking to Adair and Mitchel who is Sirius and George who is Remus, and I am Annie except I'm myself, and I need to shapeshift. Sammie comes in along with Adair, and we discuss how we'd like to know what people who haven't read the books feel about Harry Potter. She puts on an orange wig because she's got cancer and is Molly Weasley.

On the beach the waves start coming in. And then they stop. Hundreds of boxes from WB Mason appear on the water, coming in and in. We open the boxes and they're filled with pencils. More and more pencils. And we start to panic.

13 Workaholic

I was at CVS looking for something. By the counter I saw watch straps. The people working at CVS were the workers at TDR usually. They kept laughing raucously. I asked for an application. I was at the CVS down the road from home, but when I left, I was heading towards McDowell. I needed to get to work. At the desk, Nadia came in and told me Kyle (from Theatre Ink) had quit and would I take the hours at Nebraska. I said I would happily. I was walking away when I realized I hadn't signed in. Danielle/Carly was trying to sign in. There was a sheet tapped over the formal log which made it easier to sign it. I did and then left. I had to walk up between CVS and Sweet Tomatos where I passed Hughes staff of which only Sydney said hello to me. I was going to be late.

12 Almost Flying

We were at a dive bar. It was me, Kat, and some odd mixture of girl!Sam, Lindsay, and Esther. Anyways, we were avoiding this person. Kat got to chatting to the bartender, who's name was Ellie, and somehow I ended up having her phone, which looked suspiciously like the duty phone. I kept on picking up kebab sticks as people left them. At three am we left.

We went back to my house to watch a movie. I lost on of my shoes. Kat told me that when we went to my house I was going to have to pack my slippers. girl!Sam turned into my mother, who got mad at me for having Ellie's phone. Clif showed up and was interested in eating grilled cheese with me. My dad offered to drive me back to where Ellie was to return her phone.

She kept getting calls from places and my mother would pick up the phone instead of me. We got in the volvo, but had to get the bug from someone else's house on Waltham st. My dad parked the volvo in the middle of the street and kept on failing to get the bug out of the driveway, so that when he finally did and we started to drive away, he forgot to move to the volvo. We were at Franklin at this point, which is where college suddenly was instead of elementary school. I offered to run back to get it.

I ran in slow motion, but with greater speed and less exhaustion then if I were to run normally. I kept bouncing up and almost flying through the air.

When I got back to where the volvo was supposed to be, it had been towed.

11 In the theater

I was in the Sports Night studio and we were outside by this giant lake. Rowan Atkinson was going to come around the bend and act like Mr. Bean, which upset me for some reason, but I was supposed to walk past him for the cameras without turning around. However when Dana shouted action, I put my finger on my lip and said something about mustchaches, and Rowan Atkinson said something awfully dry and witty and I cracked up. I knew it was bad to waste tape, but for some reason I couldn't stop myself.

I got fired, and was heading back into the theater, which was giant and blue and not one I recognized. They were doing A Street Car Named Desire. Zach Narva and Jake Baker were there and were friends again, and we talked about why I was getting fired. I thought it was bullshit and had already elected to get back in good with Dana so I could work on the show again.

The door near the booth was locked, so I kept trying to get downstairs to get backstage but unfortunately none of the actors knew who I was, so I kept failing. Then I decided to pretend to need to use the bathroom and ended up in a food court. There was a girl there with frizzy brown hair. A vending machine had broken and we could get all the food out of it. We fought over getting the caffeine free and normal diet lime coke. She was pregnant but wanted the one with caffeine.

Then we got on to the fruits and vegetables because it was a super market. The lights went on and off, and the show was about to start and I realized I was going to be late, so I ran off and down some stairs and was in Leonard... but Leonard inverted. It was the New North, but it was Residence Halls, and I was the RA of the 8th floor. People were running across books in the longue, and The Doctor (10) was there. He was my new RD. He was training my girls.

There was a kid, called David, who goes to my school and is not autistic, but here he was, and he got really attached to one of the books that people were running on and tried to take it away, but I had to keep it in its place.

We wandered into the hall and someone had called me Rachel, and I was really annoyed. I went back into the longue to find a girl who was sitting by the window, and when I asked her how she was she freaked out.

I was late for the show so I ran downstairs and back into the theater and the Doctor followed me and informed me that the girl in the longue was special and I had to look after her. I had to go back up stiars and she was sitting in her room and she had made a balloon and in it were plastic figurines of the Doctor and Jack, and she had lit the little candle so the balloon was going up, but the plastic faces were melting. The Doctor was there, and the balloon was going to the fire alarm, so he grabbed it and put it out of the air, and put it in the tree outside her window where there was a bird.

And the girl said her problem was that sometimes she was a bird, and then she was gone.

10 Panic

Jasper had cancer, and for some reason everyone was fine with it. Jasper even decided that instead of dying feeling ill, his friend was going to shoot him. I was not pleased. I kept yelling at him. I cried. Jasper seemed perfectly fine, but he had lost his phone.

I was at North, but it was New North looking exactly like Old North. I was an RA, but I kept seeing people with alcohol and ignoring it. I was in a French class that I was failing. The teacher kept writing me notes at the bottom of quizzes that I did horribly on, and telling me that I couldn't fail her class.

One of the girls in my class who looked like Abby, from my creative writing class, asked me if I wanted some whiskey, but I heard 'to bake some biscuits' and then I didn't want to seem stupid so I followed her. Only there were officials so I bailed on her because I really needed my RA job and hoped she would understand.

I found Jasper's phone and got mad at him. One of the keys was missing, but I could put it back in instead of paying attention in French. A girl behind me found out Obama became president.

09 Fear of Flying

We were going to somewhere in South America and I was excited. Matt and Maddie were there and we were talking about Harry Potter. I was on campus and it was raining but I needed to pack, and I needed my passport. I got my passport and put it in my bag, but it was my British passport and not my American one and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get back into the country.

We were at the airport, and the airline was one I had never heard of. I didn't check a bag. We had to go underground and then wander around some deep part of the airport. It was a mixture of BWI, Dulles, and Heathrow. Finally we got to the stop, and I realized I had forgotten my passport.

Panic. I need to go back. I need to get on the airplane. I get on without my passport deciding that I will make it work. The airplane is giant. There are classrooms in it, and Mrs. Montgomery from eighth grade is in one dark room and she knows I don't have my passport. She yells at me and I run off the plane and into Kat. We need to get my passport.

It was in my bag the whole time.
